Vice President Kamala Harris's campaign is planning a fireside chat or town hall with former Republican Representative Liz Cheney, an anti-Trump Republican, as part of an effort to reach disaffected Republicans in the closing weeks of the election. Harris and Cheney are expected to campaign together in suburban areas of key battleground states next week. Harris's campaign is embracing Detroit after former President Donald Trump likened the city to a developing nation. Trump accused Harris of having 'sold out' Detroit and promised to usher in a 'rebirth' of the Motor City. Harris responded by questioning Trump's fitness for office, stating, 'If Donald Trump is so exhausted from the campaign trail, it raises real questions about whether he is fit for the toughest job in the world.'
