The song debuted at #3 on the Circle Download Chart in Korea and #52 on the Circle Digital Chart with 5,535,827 streams in less than two days. It also became the biggest first-week song debut by a K-pop act on Global Spotify in 2024, amassing 34.78 million streams. In the UK, 'Never Let Go' debuted at #1 on the UK Singles Download chart and at #60 on the UK's Official Singles Chart, making Jungkook the first Korean soloist to score seven hits on this chart. Additionally, the track entered the Billboard Hot 100 at #97, extending Jungkook's record as the K-pop soloist with the most entries in Hot 100 history, with a total of seven entries.
