VisitJulian Assange's Plea Agreement: WikiLeaks Removes DNC Emails
Jun 26, 2024, 05:34 AM
Julian Assange has been instructed to direct WikiLeaks to destroy any remaining classified documents and information in their possession and provide an affidavit once completed, as part of his plea agreement. Following Assange's guilty plea to unlawfully obtaining and disclosing classified documents related to national defense, WikiLeaks has removed all emails related to the Democratic National Committee (DNC) leak from its platform. The DNC email archive removal is possibly the first result of Assange's deal with the U.S. Justice Department.
