VisitJudge Scott Blaney Orders AZ Secretary of State to Release List of 100,000 Voters
Oct 31, 2024, 08:43 PM
A judge in Maricopa County, Arizona, has ruled that the Democrat Secretary of State, Adrian Fontes, must immediately release the list of nearly 100,000 voters who were marked as U.S. citizens without providing documentary proof. Judge Scott Blaney also awarded attorneys' fees to the plaintiffs. The ruling comes after America First Legal won its lawsuit against the Arizona Secretary of State for illegally withholding a list of 218,000 registered voters who did not provide proof of citizenship. The Secretary of State must produce the complete list by Monday, before Election Day. The court found that despite political undertones, this is a public records case, and the list must be shared with counties and some legislators before Tuesday's election.
