VisitJudge Orders Giuliani to Surrender Manhattan Penthouse to Ruby Freeman and Shaye Moss
Oct 22, 2024, 06:33 PM
A federal judge, Lewis Liman, has ordered Rudy Giuliani to surrender control of his Manhattan penthouse apartment, valued at $5.1 million, and various luxury items to Georgia election workers Ruby Freeman and Shaye Moss, whom he defamed. The order, issued on October 22, aims to satisfy a defamation judgment of $146 million awarded to Freeman and Moss. Assets to be handed over include Giuliani's 1980 Mercedes-Benz SL500, jewelry, over two dozen watches, sports memorabilia such as signed photographs and jerseys, as well as televisions and furniture. Giuliani is also required to assign to the workers any legal fees owed to him by former President Donald Trump and the Republican National Committee, amounting to $2 million.
