These settlements resolve antitrust claims related to real estate commissions in the Sitzer, Burnett, Moehrl, and Nosalek cases. Earlier, homebuyers' attorneys attempted to block these settlements in a federal courtroom, arguing that the approval of a previous Kansas City verdict favoring homesellers could undermine their commission-related lawsuits. Despite these efforts, the judge rejected the homebuyers' claims, allowing the settlements to proceed.
