VisitJTTN Goods Train Stops Near Prempur Station Due to 5-Liter Gas Cylinder on Tracks

A potential sabotage attempt was averted early this morning when a JTTN goods train traveling from Kanpur to Prayagraj on the loop line was stopped near Prempur station after the loco pilot spotted a small gas cylinder on the tracks. The incident occurred around 5:50 am. The loco pilot applied the emergency brakes, successfully halting the train before any damage could occur. The Railway Protection Force and other security teams quickly arrived at the scene, removed the empty 5-liter cylinder, and initiated an investigation into the incident. Railway IOW and other officials are involved in the investigation. This marks another derailment attempt in Uttar Pradesh, raising concerns over railway safety in the region.
