VisitJSW Group and POSCO Sign MoU to Develop 5 MTPA Steel Plant in India, Explore Battery Materials and Renewable Energy

JSW Group has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with South Korea's POSCO Group to develop an integrated steel plant in India. The plant will have an initial capacity of 5 million tonnes per annum (MTPA). The collaboration will also explore opportunities in battery materials related to electric vehicles (EVs) and renewable energy to meet the captive requirements of the proposed steel plant.
