VisitJPMorgan's Jamie Dimon Mandates Full-Time Office Return for 316,000 Employees Starting March
Jan 10, 2025, 05:33 PM
JPMorgan Chase & Co., the largest bank in the United States, has mandated that all of its more than 316,000 employees worldwide return to the office five days a week starting in March. This decision, announced by CEO Jamie Dimon and the bank's operating committee, marks the end of a hybrid work-from-home policy that was implemented during the pandemic. More than half of the bank's approximately 300,000 employees are already working in the office full-time. While some locations may not yet have the capacity to accommodate all employees, the firm believes this is the best way to run the company. Employees affected by this new policy will receive at least 30 days' notice before the full-time return is required. The option to work from home will remain available for exceptional circumstances.
