Jun 20, 2024, 07:07 PM
JJ Redick has agreed to a four-year contract to become the next head coach of the Los Angeles Lakers, according to multiple reports. This marks Redick's first coaching position following his retirement from the NBA in 2021. Lakers General Manager Rob Pelinka offered the job to Redick this morning, and Redick has already begun assembling a coaching staff to support him. Redick, a 15-year NBA veteran and TV analyst, will be the 29th head coach in the franchise's history, taking over from Darvin Ham, who was fired at the end of the 2023-2024 season.
