VisitJim Harbaugh Denies Level 1 Violation Amid Michigan Sign-Stealing Scandal After Leaving Michigan
Aug 5, 2024, 09:01 PM
Jim Harbaugh, former Michigan football coach, has denied any wrongdoing amid allegations of a sign-stealing scandal. Harbaugh, who left Michigan after winning the CFP championship to coach the Chargers, is accused of committing a Level 1 violation, the most serious category in the NCAA’s enforcement process. His attorney, Tom Mars, stated that the NCAA contends Harbaugh failed to cooperate by refusing to incur tens of thousands of dollars in legal fees for a review of 6,199 emails. Harbaugh, who 'got the hell out' of Michigan, denies (again) any involvement in the scandal, despite accusations that he lied.
