VisitJay-Z Denies Rape Allegations as He Joins Beyoncé and Daughter Blue Ivy, Voice of Kiara, at 'Mufasa' Premiere
Dec 10, 2024, 11:00 AM
Jay-Z and Beyoncé made a public appearance with their 12-year-old daughter, Blue Ivy Carter, at the premiere of Disney's "Mufasa: The Lion King" in Los Angeles on Monday night. The family's outing comes amid a civil lawsuit filed against Jay-Z, alleging that he and Sean "Diddy" Combs raped a 13-year-old girl in 2000. Both artists have denied the allegations, with Jay-Z's lawyer filing a motion requesting that the accuser, represented by attorney Tony Buzbee, reveal her identity or have the case dismissed. Jay-Z has referred to the allegations as "heinous in nature" and a form of "extortion." At the premiere, Blue Ivy, who voices Kiara, the daughter of Simba and Nala in the upcoming film, posed on the red carpet alongside her parents and grandmother, Tina Knowles. Beyoncé shared a heartfelt message to her daughter, praising her performance and expressing familial pride.
