VisitJasveen Sangha Among Five Charged in Matthew Perry's Ketamine Overdose Death
Aug 17, 2024, 03:10 AM
Five individuals, including two doctors, have been charged in connection with the overdose death of 'Friends' star Matthew Perry. The charges stem from allegations that they supplied Perry with ketamine, a powerful sedative, which led to his death. Jasveen Sangha, known as the 'Ketamine Queen,' is among those charged, accused of exploiting Perry's addiction for profit. Perry's personal assistant, Kenneth Iwamasa, has pleaded guilty to conspiracy to distribute ketamine causing death. Court documents reveal that Perry had requested his assistant to inject him with ketamine on the day of his death, with his last words being 'Shoot me up with a big one.' Investigators found significant quantities of drugs, including 79 vials of ketamine and three pounds of methamphetamine, at Sangha's residence. The case has highlighted concerns over the misuse of ketamine, which is used medically but also abused recreationally.
