VisitJamie Chadwick Makes History as First Woman to Win Indy NXT Road Course Race at Road America
Jun 9, 2024, 08:24 AM
Jamie Chadwick has made history by becoming the first female polesitter in Indy NXT since Pippa Mann in 2010. Chadwick secured pole position with a lap time of 1:51.0333 at Road America, narrowly edging out her Andretti teammate Louis Foster. This achievement marks her as only the third woman in history to secure an Indy NXT pole position. Chadwick went on to win the race at Road America, making her the first woman to win an Indy NXT road course race. The race, which was live on Sky Sports Mix at 6.05pm, saw Chadwick lead from pole position and fend off title contenders Louis Foster and Jacob Abel. Chadwick, who has previously won three titles in the W Series, continues to break barriers in motorsport.
