The Jacksonville Jaguars have parted ways with General Manager Trent Baalke after four seasons, amid a search for a new head coach following the dismissal of Doug Pederson. The decision to separate from Baalke was announced by Jaguars owner Shad Khan, who stated that the move was mutually agreed upon after several discussions. Assistant General Manager Ethan Waugh will serve as interim general manager as the team continues its coaching search. Baalke's tenure saw the Jaguars struggle, finishing with a 4-13 record in 2024, and his departure comes after top coaching candidates, including Liam Coen, withdrew from consideration for the head coaching position, reportedly due to Baalke's presence.
