VisitJacob Fearnley Wins Orléans Challenger, Defeats Mayot to Break into ATP Top 100

Jacob Fearnley, a Scottish tennis player from Edinburgh, has made a significant breakthrough by winning his third consecutive ATP Challenger title at the Orléans Challenger. Fearnley defeated Harold Mayot of France 6-3, 7-6(5) in the final, marking his fourth Challenger title of the year. This victory propels Fearnley into the ATP top 100 for the first time, ranking him at world no. 98. Fearnley's impressive run includes a record of 27 wins and only one loss in Challenger matches this year. He has also extended his winning streak against French players to 11 consecutive matches. Fearnley was ranked outside the top 500 as recently as June, making his rapid ascent in the rankings noteworthy. Earlier in the tournament, Fearnley thrashed Matteo Gigante 6-1, 6-0 and holds a 23-1 record in Challenger matches this season.
