Oct 1, 2024, 09:23 AM
The Israeli military has issued evacuation orders to residents of numerous towns and villages in southern Lebanon and southern Beirut suburbs, citing imminent strikes on Hezbollah targets. The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) specifically warned residents in the Beirut neighborhoods of Laylaki, Haret Hreik, and Burj Al-Barajneh, as well as over 29 villages in southern Lebanon, to leave their homes immediately. The IDF emphasized the need for residents to move north to avoid danger, particularly near the Al-Awla river. The warnings come amid escalating tensions and planned military operations targeting Hezbollah facilities in the group's stronghold.
