Israeli Military Confirms Deaths of Four Hostages in Khan Younis, Captured on October 7

The Israeli military has confirmed the deaths of four Israeli hostages who were held in Hamas captivity. The hostages, identified as Chaim Peri, 79, Amiram Cooper, 84, Yoram Metzger, 80, and Nadav Popplewell, 51, were kidnapped on October 7 and taken to Gaza. The confirmation came after new intelligence was obtained. The hostages were believed to have been killed together in the Khan Younis area several months ago. Their bodies are still being held by Hamas. The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) are investigating the circumstances surrounding their deaths, including whether they were killed by IDF fire. The deceased hostages had been seen in a Hamas video begging for their release.
