Israeli forces have successfully rescued Qaid Farhan Alkadi, a 52-year-old Bedouin-Israeli hostage, from captivity in Gaza. Alkadi was abducted by Hamas on October 7 while working as a security guard at Kibbutz Magen. The rescue operation, conducted by the IDF, Shin Bet, and Shayetet 13, took place in a tunnel in Khan Yunis, southern Gaza. Alkadi, who is from Rahat and a father of 11, had been held for 326 days. He is now in stable condition and has been transferred to a hospital for medical checks. The operation marks a significant achievement for Israeli forces amid ongoing tensions in the region.
