VisitIsraeli Forces Raid Gaza Hospital, 72 Dead in Airstrikes
Oct 25, 2024, 06:02 PM
Israeli forces carried out attacks across Gaza overnight, including a raid on Kamal Adwan Hospital in the north and airstrikes in the south that left 72 dead, according to Gazan health officials. The World Health Organization (WHO) reported losing contact with the staff at Kamal Adwan Hospital, which is the last functioning hospital in northern Gaza. WHO chief Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus described the situation as 'deeply disturbing,' noting that three health workers and another employee were injured, 44 health workers were detained, and four ambulances were damaged. The Health Ministry in Gaza stated that hundreds of staff, patients, and displaced Palestinians were detained during the IDF raid. Around 600 patients, health workers, and displaced individuals remain in the hospital under siege.
