Israeli Forces Kill Wassem Hazem, Three Palestinians in West Bank Operation

Israeli forces have conducted a significant military operation in the West Bank, targeting and killing Wassem Hazem, the commander of Hamas's Al-Qassam Brigades in Jenin. This operation, which is part of a broader counter-terrorism effort, has been ongoing for three days and is reported to be the deadliest since the Gaza war began. The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF), along with the Shin Bet and Israeli Police, carried out the operation, which included drone strikes and clashes. Hazem, identified as a key figure in directing attacks, was killed alongside two other operatives in a vehicle targeted by Israeli airstrikes in the village of Zababdeh, south of Jenin. Three Palestinians were killed in the strike on Friday morning. The operation also led to the confiscation of weapons and thousands of shekels from the militants.
