An Israeli drone strike on Saturday targeted a car in Jounieh, a city in the Mount Lebanon Governorate north of Beirut, killing two people, according to Lebanon's Health Ministry. The attack marked the first Israeli strike on the area since Hezbollah and Israel started trading fire last year. The car was traveling on the main coastal highway linking the capital Beirut and northern Lebanon when it was targeted. The drone reportedly followed the vehicle before launching the strike. The incident comes amid heightened tensions between Israel and Lebanese groups.
