Israeli security services have arrested an Israeli citizen on suspicion of involvement in an Iranian-backed assassination plot. The suspect, identified as 73-year-old businessman Moti Meman, was allegedly recruited by Iranian intelligence to assassinate Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Defense Minister Yoav Gallant, Shin Bet Director Ronen Bar, and former Prime Minister Naftali Bennett. The Shin Bet and police reported that Meman was smuggled into Iran twice and received payment to carry out the missions.
