Israeli Airstrikes Target Russian Hmeimim Airbase in Latakia After Iranian Shipment

Israeli airstrikes have targeted multiple locations in Syria, including the Russian-operated Hmeimim Airbase in Latakia Governorate. The strikes occurred shortly after an Iranian shipment arrived at the base, operated by sanctioned IRGC cutout Qeshm Fars Air. Syrian and Russian air defenses were active in response to the attacks. The strikes also hit warehouses in Jableh, near Russia’s Hmeimim Airbase.
