VisitIsraeli Airstrikes on Saturday Hit Iran's Secret Missile Fuel Sites, Satellite Images Reveal
Oct 27, 2024, 04:23 AM
Satellite imagery has revealed that Israeli airstrikes on Saturday struck Iranian facilities used for mixing solid fuel for ballistic missiles, causing heavy damage to five buildings. American researchers, including David Albright, a former UN weapons inspector, assessed that the attacks targeted the secret Parchin base and the Khojir missile production site. The damaged facilities include warehouses and mixing buildings linked to Iran's defunct nuclear weapons development program and the production of smokeless motors for anti-tank guided missiles (ATGMs), man-portable air-defense systems (MANPADs), surface-to-air missiles (SAMs), and other missile systems. Albright confirmed that critical buildings were hit in the strikes.
