The Israeli military has confirmed carrying out an airstrike on the UNRWA-run Al-Jaouni school in the Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza. The strike, which the IDF claims targeted Hamas operatives using the facility as a command center, resulted in significant casualties. Reports indicate that at least 16 people, including children, were killed and over 50 others injured. Among the victims were Mayar Haida (9 years old), Bilal Hamida (6 years old), their mother, and grandmother. The Ministry of Health in Gaza reported a rising death toll, with at least 15 confirmed dead shortly after the attack.
