Dec 12, 2024, 10:42 AM
The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) conducted two air strikes in southern Gaza, targeting groups responsible for securing humanitarian aid trucks. These strikes resulted in the deaths of at least 37 Palestinians and wounded at least 30 others. The first strike occurred in Rafah, killing at least 15 people, while the second targeted another group in Khan Younis. The IDF stated that the strikes were aimed at Hamas terrorists planning to seize humanitarian aid trucks, ensuring the safe passage of aid to residents in the area via the Karm Abu Salem crossing. Local medical officials reported that the strikes also hit private homes, contributing to the total death toll of at least 14 in Gaza on that day.
