The Israeli Air Force has launched extensive airstrikes on Hezbollah positions in southern Lebanon, the Beqaa Valley, and the Nabatieh District. The strikes, which are reported to be the largest since 2006, are targeting Hezbollah cells, rocket launchers, and weapons depots. The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) confirmed the operations, stating they are in response to detected intentions by Hezbollah to fire on Israeli territory. Over 50 airstrikes have been reported, causing widespread fires and significant damage in the targeted areas, including the Hermel District. Rocket alerts have sounded in Galilee border towns.
