Katz made these remarks during a visit to the southern Israeli city of Netivot, which was targeted by rocket fire from Gaza the previous night. He emphasized that Israel is prepared to make significant compromises in line with principles outlined by the U.S. President, but warned that failure to release the hostages and stop the attacks would result in 'blows with a force not seen in Gaza for a long time.' Katz also called on the residents of Gaza to rise against Hamas, accusing the group of using civilians as human shields.
