Israel to Release 90 Palestinian Prisoners, Including 69 Women and 21 Children, in 'Ailes de la Liberté' Operation

Israel is set to release 90 Palestinian prisoners today as part of an operation named 'Ailes de la Liberté,' which involves the exchange of Palestinian prisoners for three Israeli hostages, Romi Gonen, Emily Damari, and Doron Steinbrecher, at a ratio of 30 prisoners per hostage. The list of prisoners to be freed includes 69 women and 21 children, with 78 heading to the West Bank and 12 to East Jerusalem. The process will follow a strict protocol, with prisoners being escorted to Ofer prison for identification by the International Committee of the Red Cross before their final release, contingent on the safe return of the Israeli hostages to Israeli territory.
