Israel's Defense Ministry has signed a $5.2 billion agreement with Boeing to purchase 25 advanced F-15IA fighter jets, with an option for an additional 25 aircraft. The deal, financed through U.S. military aid funds and part of a broader package approved by the U.S. administration and Congress earlier this year, will see deliveries starting in 2031 in batches of 4-6 jets annually. The F-15IA is the Israeli variant of the advanced F-15EX, featuring enhanced range, payload capacity, and Israeli-integrated weapon systems.
