Despite this, U.S. military officials have discussed the possibility of supporting Israel's retaliation, including options such as intelligence sharing or airstrikes, NBC reports. According to two U.S. officials, Israel is still finalizing its response options through ongoing meetings. The potential U.S. support could involve limited strikes against targets inside Iran, strikes against Iranian naval assets at sea, or targeting the Islamic Revolutionary Guard. The discussions have raised concerns as Congress has not declared war on Iran.
