Israel has conducted an extensive military operation in Syria, launching over 480 airstrikes in the past 48 hours, targeting military sites across the country. According to Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz, the strikes have resulted in the destruction of 70-80% of Syria's military capabilities, including naval ships, airfields, weapons production sites, and strategic weapon stockpiles. The operation, dubbed 'Operation Bashan Arrow,' was launched in response to the fall of the Assad regime, aiming to prevent the transfer of weapons to hostile forces. The Israeli Navy also destroyed the Syrian fleet in Latakia harbor. The strikes have targeted key military infrastructure, including anti-aircraft batteries, Syrian Air Force airfields, and naval bases in Damascus, Homs, Tartus, and Palmyra.
