VisitIsrael Releases 33 Palestinian Prisoners, Including Two Women, Back to Gaza
Aug 20, 2024, 07:07 AM
Israeli authorities have released 33 Palestinian prisoners, including two women, back to the Gaza Strip. The release took place at the Karm Abu Salem crossing, located south of the Gaza Strip. The former detainees were subsequently transported to Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis. The release is part of a regular process where Israel returns Gazan detainees after determining they are not suspected of terror activity. Some of the detainees, including Yahya Jadou and Muhammad Ayoub Al-Rajabi, were reportedly subjected to severe torture and ill-treatment during their detention.
