The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) have confirmed they conducted over 10 airstrikes on Houthi-controlled targets in Yemen's Hodeidah port and Ras Issa areas, including power plants, oil reservoirs, and port facilities. Dozens of Israeli aircraft, including fighter jets, aerial refueling tankers, and intelligence planes, participated in the extensive operation, targeting sites used to transfer Iranian weapons. The strikes were in response to recent ballistic missile attacks on Israel by the Iranian-backed Houthi rebels, including missiles launched toward the Tel Aviv area. The operation marked Israeli military action approximately 1,800 kilometers from its borders.
