VisitIsrael Identifies 108 Gazan Palestinian UNRWA Employees as Alleged Hamas and Islamic Jihad Members
Jul 11, 2024, 08:41 AM
Israel has identified 108 Gazan Palestinian employees of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) as alleged members of Hamas and Islamic Jihad. The Israeli authorities have released the names and ID numbers of these individuals, accusing them of being active terrorists. Israel has requested UNRWA to dismiss these employees. The accusations against UNRWA include using its facilities as command centers and weapons depots for Gaza terrorists, indoctrinating Palestinian children to hate Jews, and participating in atrocities. The controversy has reignited calls from some U.S. politicians to cut funding to UNRWA, citing its alleged support for terrorist activities. Germany’s @BILD reports that a longer list with hundreds of names is expected to be published soon.
