Israel has deployed warships to protect its offshore gas fields from potential Yemeni strikes, as reported by the Jerusalem Post. Recently, the Israeli Navy missile ship intercepted a drone that entered Israeli economic waters from Lebanese territory. The Israeli Air Defense Array also successfully intercepted a drone that entered Israeli airspace from Southwestern Lebanon. The drone was shot down near the Karish offshore gas field, highlighting the potential impact of Israeli-Lebanese tensions on natural gas resources. The Israeli Army confirmed another interception of a drone that crossed from Lebanese territory towards Western Galilee, following alerts and sirens in the areas of Admit and Ya’ara. This is at least the second Hezbollah attack since the Majdal incident.
