VisitIsrael Conducts Second Airstrike Against Hezbollah After Ceasefire Violations
Nov 30, 2024, 07:49 AM
Since the ceasefire began on Wednesday, Israel has conducted several airstrikes against Hezbollah targets in southern Lebanon, stating that the militant group violated the agreement. In the second airstrike in two days, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) targeted Hezbollah operatives involved in suspicious activities, including movement of rocket launchers and transportation of weapons. The IDF struck a mobile medium-range rocket launcher in southern Lebanon after identifying Hezbollah activity, and also discovered and confiscated weapons hidden inside a mosque used by Hezbollah terrorists. Israel also carried out strikes on military infrastructure near the Syria-Lebanon border, which it claims were used by Hezbollah to smuggle weapons from Syria into Lebanon in violation of the ceasefire. Both Israel and Hezbollah have accused each other of breaching the ceasefire conditions. In one incident, three people were injured, including a child, in an Israeli strike on a south Lebanon village.
