VisitIsrael Announces 11-Hour Daily Ceasefire in Rafah to Allow Humanitarian Aid Delivery
Jun 16, 2024, 09:52 AM
The Israeli army has announced a tactical ceasefire in Rafah, Gaza, from 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM daily to facilitate the delivery of humanitarian aid. This 11-hour ceasefire will allow aid trucks to transport essential supplies such as food, water, medicine, and tents from the Kerem Shalom crossing to the European Hospital north of Rafah. The United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) expressed hope that this pause will enable the free movement of aid. Despite the ceasefire, Israel's offensive in Rafah will continue.
