VisitIslamic Resistance in Iraq Launches Drone Attacks on Eilat; No Damage Reported, Two Injured
Sep 28, 2024, 08:48 PM
The Islamic Resistance in Iraq has launched multiple drone attacks targeting Eilat, a resort city in southern Israel. Explosions were heard in Eilat, close to the Jordanian border, without the activation of sirens initially. Hezbollah in Iraq claimed responsibility for the attacks, stating that the drones were aimed at vital targets in the south of occupied Palestine. Hebrew media reported that the drones were intercepted, with footage showing a drone being shot down. Despite the attacks, no damage was reported. However, a drone crashed into Eilat's port, injuring two people. Sirens were later sounded in the city following a drone infiltration alert.
