VisitIrvine Police Unveils $150,000 Tesla Cybertruck for DARE Unit

The Irvine, California Police Department has unveiled the world's first in-duty Tesla Cybertruck. This $150,000 vehicle will be part of the department's Drug Abuse Resistance Education (DARE) unit. The Cybertruck, produced by Upfit Tesla's police division and utilizing Whelen Engineering components, is equipped with various aftermarket upgrades. It is designed to respond to emergencies and assist the community, and aims to 'start conversations' within the community. Turnkey police cars are being deployed now by Upfit Tesla.
