Iran has announced plans to engage in discussions with European countries, specifically the E3 (France, Germany, and the UK), on the nuclear issue in late January 2025. The Iranian Foreign Ministry has confirmed the scheduling of the next round of talks. Additionally, Iran and Russia are set to sign a comprehensive strategic partnership treaty during the same period, which will cover investment, trade, technology exchange, and military cooperation. Iran's Foreign Ministry also clarified that it does not have direct contact with the current rulers of Syria, though it has maintained long-standing communications with various opposition groups there.
