VisitIran Successfully Launches Second Satellite This Year, Chamran-1, into Space

Iran has successfully launched the Chamran-1 research satellite into space using the Qaem-100 satellite carrier. The satellite reached a 550 km orbit and weighs 60 kg. This marks Iran's second successful satellite launch this year. The Chamran-1 was developed by the Space Group of Iran Electronics Industries (SAIran) in collaboration with the Aerospace Research Institute and private tech companies. The launch was conducted by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), and the satellite's main mission is to test space hardware and software. The satellite was injected into orbit with a three-stage launcher at a speed of 7.5 km/s.
