VisitIran's Revolutionary Guards Ban Communication Devices After Last Week's Hezbollah Attacks by Israel
Sep 23, 2024, 07:53 AM
Iran's elite Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) has ordered all members to stop using any type of communication devices following deadly attacks on Hezbollah in Lebanon last week. Thousands of pagers and walkie-talkies used by Hezbollah exploded in these attacks, which were reportedly carried out by Israel, leading to significant casualties. The IRGC has initiated a large-scale operation to inspect all electronic devices among its 190,000 members. The decision comes amid fears of similar attacks and concerns over security vulnerabilities, according to Reuters.
