VisitIran's Khamenei's Newly Launched Hebrew X Account Suspended After Threatening Israel
Oct 28, 2024, 06:39 AM
Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei launched a Hebrew-language account on X (formerly Twitter) following Israeli airstrikes on Iran, aiming to directly address an Israeli audience amid escalating tensions. The account began posting on October 26, with its initial message reading, "In the name of Allah, the Beneficent and the Merciful." Shortly after, Khamenei posted messages that included threats against Israel. Within less than 48 hours of its creation, the account was suspended by X for violating the platform's rules. While the Hebrew account has been suspended, Khamenei's primary account, which posts in other languages, remains active.
