Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Navy has unveiled a new underground naval missile base at an undisclosed location in the Persian Gulf. The base, located 500 meters underground, houses dozens of assault boats equipped with missile launchers. The unveiling occurred two days before the start of Donald Trump's second term as president, amid rising tensions with the United States and Israel. IRGC Chief Commander Hossein Salami visited the base during ongoing war games and described it as one of several underground facilities designed to launch long-range missiles and conduct distant warfare. The base is part of Iran's strategy to enhance its naval defense capabilities and deter potential threats from the U.S. and Israel.
