Iran Demands Israel's Expulsion from UN Amid Human Rights Dispute

Iran has escalated its diplomatic efforts at the United Nations, calling for the expulsion of Israel from various UN bodies in response to a UN resolution condemning Iran's use of the death penalty for minors and other human rights abuses. Kazem Gharib-Abadi, the Secretary General of the Iranian Human Rights Council, has formally requested the expulsion of Israel from the UN General Assembly, the UN Commission on the Status of Women, and other UN councils. Additionally, the Algerian delegation, led by Foreign Minister Ahmed Attaf, successfully expelled former Israeli Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni from a UN Alliance for Civilization forum, highlighting the ongoing tensions between Iran and Israel within the international community.
