VisitIran Accused of Targeting US Officials and Planning 20 Lethal Plots in UK, Says MI5
Oct 9, 2024, 07:34 AM
The Islamic Republic of Iran is accused of targeting high-profile US officials and planning lethal plots in the UK. According to various sources, Iran has attempted to kill former US President, SECDEF, SecState, NSA, CENTCOM Commander, and Special Rep. for Iran, resulting in the deaths of three and injuries to dozens of US servicemembers this year. Additionally, MI5 has reportedly foiled 20 Iran-backed plots targeting journalists and dissidents in Britain since January 2022. Iran's foreign ministry spokesperson, Esmaeil Baghaei, has refuted these accusations, calling them baseless.
