INTERPOL has successfully recovered $41 million in the largest ever Business Email Compromise (BEC) scam in Singapore. The operation, which involved a global stop-payment mechanism, led to the arrest of seven individuals. The funds, which were intended for BEC scammers, were intercepted by police. Police also recovered over $40m headed to BEC scammers.
