Upside Foods, a prominent cultivated meat company, contends that the ban violates the US Constitution. Paul Sherman, associated with IJ, has been vocal about the issue. The Florida Agricultural Commissioner has previously stated that the ban aims to protect the state's farmers. The case is currently being addressed in federal court.
